Mother's Day FlowersI've never really done much close up photography but i tried the other day and enjoyed this result.

this is pretty nice! What I like about it is that there are only a few buds in this picture (that are clear) that actually have colored petals.
It's really interesting to see the green where it all starts from. And it has such a soft texture too!

I too enjoy how at the bottom the flowers are fully purple, the middle they are just partially coloured. Then above there is partially opened green, and barely opened at all at the top. I dont have a proper macro lens so unfortunately there are limits on what can be done with a standard kit lens.
