Really? Some people say that your best work is the work done inΒ
your own time and your creative touch has come across really well here.
Keep it up man.Β

Where did you buy the stuff for the parts with the dots. I don't remember what they're card so pardon me. I know that you can buy the dotted paper for comics and that's what I've been looking for.

Brands were Zip-a-Tone, Chart Pak, and Letraset dry transfer tones. Might be hard to find these days. I would ask your local art supply place.

Oki doki thank you so much. I've been wanting to make comics for a while but grey markers don't cut it.

Good luck! And if you decide to work on anything digitally, there are plenty of Photoshop tutorials on how to make the half tones all over there internet,
and probably even here at

I'm terrible at technology actually haha, and every time I try to do the digital thing for dA it just doesn't work haha. I don't know why, maybe it's because I am trying it out on a Samsung tablet

Like I said, check out your local art supply places.
There's still gotta be something out there for people working in traditional mediums and not digital.
There also used to be a paper that you could draw and ink on,
then use two different liquid solutions to make shading appear.
One solution caused a set of diagonal lines to appear, the other caused two sets to appear, with a cross hatch effect,
but I can't remember the name of that paper at the moment.

I didn't do this one. You'd have to ask the artist. I was just replying to your question about the zip-a-tones.

Quite welcome! On the other hand, I do have a bunch of works in my gallery that contain loads of tentacles.
They are all pretty much H.P. Lovecraft inspired!

I've actually read one story by HP lovecraft. His stories are very interesting.

They're all pretty good, actually. And mostly short stories.
You can get all of them pretty cheaply in one volume...
