Description
I was playing with Celtic Knotwork here. I have always admired the work of Native North American Artists who make wonderful stylized animal pictures in bright colours and wanted to experiment with similar work myself, but always felt that I would be a phoney to use their methods of stylization. When I encountered Celtic Knotwork I realized that it was a valid means of expression, of stylization, from my own cultural background to work with or in. I had painted this very roughly in watercolours, I used the Gimp to edit the colours and make them more consistent.
