My entry to the Scribfic Fanart Contest held byThe idea of the contest was to draw a scene from one of her fanfics, and since "The Friend That I Was Looking For" was the one that was most clear in my mind at the time I went with that one. To read the fic go here: [link] It's a good read for YGO fans as a whole but particularly fans of season 0.
This was suppose to be the scene where Yugi and his friends are leaving the hall where the memorial service to Miho was help. Not sure if it's entirely accurate to the fic but it was from memory.
I really think I messed up on drawing Anzu's face here, but overall it looks okay to me. ^^
Also going to use this for the YGO 100 Art Themes: 48. Funeral. Because even though it's not technically a funeral it's a group of the friends who cared about her mourning her absence so that's what counts.

I refuse to accept the other seasons as canon because Miho chan is my favorite character and the other seasons aren't very good compared to season 0.

I read the fanfic and I really love this picture too. It would have been interesting to see Miho in the main anime, but I guess they didn't include her because she started off an an extra character in the manga and was only there for one chapter. Still, I do miss her.

The story really is amazing, Scribbler does some brilliant work for the series. I miss Miho a lot too, though other than "being the girly one" there wouldn't be much for her to do in the main anime. Or maybe there would be, we don't really know now. ^^

I'll admit I was a little surprised that so much focus has been given to the crush considering they haven't met yet. ^^ But when judging on how perverted the abridged characters are you could do a fair bit worse than Honda.

Firstly, thanks for pointing me towards the fic. I loved it and left my review. Plus it helped put the picture into perspective a little bit more.
I do like how Honda's hand is hovering near the chair. Perhaps it was the chair that she would sit in during class (I bet that was in the fic and I missed it 
... aaand I've got 'Here Without You' in my head again.

I'm not sure if it was referenced as being her chair specifically but that is a nice thought. Not nice for poor Honda of course but nice from a reader's point of view. XD I felt really bad for Honda through the fic.

Me too. ;-; Since they didn't say you could write almost anything about what happened to her really, but I like to be optimistic and just say she moved away.

Yea, I stick with moving away and no killing XP.... 'cause Miho was cute and funny in what I saw her do in the episodes of season 0 I saw.... and when she's with a guy or something Honda would want to try SO hard to try to win her.... which is amusing. I know I remember seeing some little bits where Miho was with Ryou and apparently fell in love with Ryou and that struck Honda.
indeed .. now to get to that..... I know aside from that I think I got Namine and Kairi good... well... yea that's KH but I know what I mean. I am just not sure about trying Anzu.... heh.

She is cute and funny in her manpulative sort of way. ^^ *Pets her* I liked seeing Honda freak out when she was flirting with another guy. xD Yeah, she had a big crush in Ryou though he showed more interest in Yuugi. She also had a crush on Seto but she got over that.
Yeah, it's good to draw girls from other series too. ^^ Nah, if you don't like Anzu you don't have to draw her.

Yea it is. I wouldn't say anyone who dislikes any character should draw them..... though then there are some that do only to bash which is annoying.

Yeah, she's quick to give her feelings away. Shame she didn't really notice that Honda cared for her, or when she did she used it to get him to do things for her. XD
I don't see the point in bashing either. Sometimes I draw/write a character I dislike as part of a pair or for a request or challenge.

Yea... and it is ashame because even when the series came to an end if she likely moves away then she doesn't know that Honda liked her that much... and then Honda seems to forget and then he can see Shizuka and it can start.... just not be like he was with Miho.... and Otogi comes in and likes her too so XD
And there is no point in doing a request if they request bashing. 'Cause anyone who asks anything bashing a character I won't ever do.... though that has not happened to me.

Yeah, it's a shame Miho probably wouldn't be likely to return Honda's affections. Admittedly I like Honda/Shizuka more than Honda/Miho but both pairings are good to me.

Yep. ^^ It was nice to see him move on. I think that even if Miho came back now that he's grown up a bit he'd still like Shizuka since she seems more likely to return his affections to me. Oh yes, we can't forget about that funny little love triangle. XD I like Chaseshipping too, it was one of the early yaoi pairings I supported. Out of the three of them I think Honda/Shizuka is my favourite but I do like him paired with Otogi.
People do ask me if I can make an exception on some stuff. XD Sometimes I do sometimes I don't, it depends on the person and what they're asking for.

I still can find it funny anyway XD. Yea Miho could come back and Honda would like her like he used to. Chaseshipping I can like but I would not say I would go crazy for it. My friend like it but... you already know whisch pairing I an more ...into XD.

I'm not sure if he'd like her like that or not when they get older. It'd be interesting to see. ^^ Same here. ^^ I have two friends who really adore Chaseshipping and I like it but I'm not obsessed with it like I used to be. Yeah, I do know that. XD
If it was a joke intended in good humour than I'd be more likely. Or if it was a character both me and the other person hated maybe I'd show it to the person but not put it on dA.

I know I dislike Anzu....Seto..... Pegasus.... but out of those.... I would joke with Pegasus... well... joke in saying Pegasus pairings with Bakura or Malik to Bakura and he would freak out XD

I like those characters. XD Pegasus is easy to joke around with, there's a guy on the bus who likes anime that jokes about with us a lot about Pegasus. I'm sure it would make them both freak out. XD
