Surprisingly, they're still friends, even after Samael does the whole betray Heaven and cause general havoc thing. Not that either would admit to being friends anymore. It's really rather sweet.

Gabriel is drunk, probably from trying to drink someone under the table and failing terribly. Probably Uriel, who is Heaven's crowned Champion Alcoholic. No one beats him at a drinking contest.

I'm not sure how I feel about the concept of Gabriel putting the moves on Samael. I think it's something akin to terror.

Yes, I have nothing better to do than devise complicated apocalypse stories involving drunks and motorcycles. (Actually, I have a thousand things I SHOULD be doing...)
