So, today I thought it would be fun to share this cool x-ray pan shot taken earlier yesterday!
(And yes, I asked the dentist to send it to me...)

Well, last time I went to the dentist it was back in... 2019 apparently! So, I have to admit I was a little bit stressed.
Since then, three wisdom teeth started coming out. Like I literally came back... with three new babies. SURPRISE!


For the "fun" anecdote, when I was 17 years old, the orthodontist actually set a metallic wire behind my front teeth!
Unfortunately, the one at the bottom was no longer sticking well... so I removed it. I panicked when I saw a hollow was left over there!

Pumpkie: But the hollow wasn't actually on your teeth.

Sam: Well... that's it. In fact, it was just on the glue left on my teeth. (Those who are barely reading and just found this sentence, will probably think I'm crazy )

Pumpkie: Alright. Let me put this up for you (for those who haven't followed): WHY WAS THERE GLUE ALL OVER YOUR TEETH, SAM?!!!

Sam:  ...

For the rest of the anecdote, I theoretically have "good teeth". But you may not know how all of that will evolve. There is no certitude regarding how it might grow, move, or anything (that wisdow tooth on the left of the picture: that is on my right is "dangerous", but has stayed this way for 3 years and might also just stay this way. It's not an emergency to remove it, but we shall keep checking on it!)

Pumpkie: After a thousand of sodas and candies, the dentist said Sammy had good teeth, perfect!

Sam: PUMPKIE!!
Anyway! I would love to see my whole head but not with a panoramic view, one day.
That could be interesting. But I guess this would only be done in drastic circumstances (which I don't wish either).

And damn… is my face THAT asymmetric by the way?

Pumpkie: I’m not sure how accurate a panoramic view is concerning the shapes…

But. Oh well, is that... you know, one of your eyes... that round thing around the center/right side?

Sam: Uhmm... maybe that's an eye? I'm not even sure. It looks somewhat close to the jaw to be the eyes (and where would be the nose then?), but as I'm touching now my face, I notice there isn't much space between the jaw and the eye sockets. Oh well. I guess we can't tell... in a pan shot.

Anyway, that line you see above is actually one of the metallic wires that's still left!

Oh, well! A few years ago, we also had the feet!

Am I the only one to find this type of things fascinating?
(Perhaps a bit creepy though...)

Sam: Well, if you check the comments below... some former dental technician just answered to your question. This round shaped thing might be a sinus cavity!

Pumpkie: Ohhh... that's a pretty, uh... spherical cavity then.

Sam: *raises a finger... then gives up*
