This is a redo of this picture:I decided to draw this again because I've become much better with G3 ponies, and the original just... didn't look right. G4 Rarity looks somewhat okay, but G3 Rarity looks awful and kind of ugly. G3 Rarity definitely looks way better in this version. Also in the old version, people were confused because it looked like she had no cutie mark, but that was because of the way her leg was turned. I moved her leg in this version.
This picture series was made to spite all of the pictures and videos people make of G4 ponies being horrified by, making fun of, or even hurting the G3 ponies. Let's face it, that's your little joke. The G4 ponies would NEVER harm another pony just because they were different from them, and if they saw someone else doing it, they would definitely stop them.

I love your series! It's about time somepony stood up for the other generations! I grew up with generation 3 and my mom grew up with generations 1 through 2. So I hate seeing people say hateful remarks about the older generations just because they aren't their "precious" generation 4. Of course, is this coming from someone who loves generation 4, but also loves all of the generations equally. However I think most of the haters who don't like the older generations are either 9 - 12 year old kids or just stubborn and narrow minded people, but that's just my thoughts.

Yeah. If someone doesn't like/hates G3, that's fine and I respect their opinion. Toothache-inducing sweetness isn't for everyone. Drawing the G3 characters in a torture dungeon, however, is where I draw the line. (and, yes, someone did that)

Ikr? I hate it when there are Bronies/Pegasisters that are all like "OMG THE PREVIOUS GENERATIONS SHOULD HAVE NEVER EXISTED THEY SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK" Whenever I see that, I'm just like, "Dude, if the previous generations never existed, your precious FIM never would've either." XD

As a kid, I grew up on G3 Rarity, and she was actually my favourite pony and I physically own her movie. Yes, G4 Rarity is pretty, but she's petty. G3 Rarity was full of curiosity and was always prepared for adventure. I think she helped form the person I am today, because I am both of those.

I like G3 Rarity too. I actually prefer her over G4 Rarity. I like G3 Rarity's personality more than G4 Rarity, and her colors are much more interesting.

You going to do any 3.5 Ponies? Or did you already? You could do either Sweetiebelle or Scootaloo , as those are the only ponies carried over to G4 (although, you could do Cheerilee, if you want. It's just Cheerilee's really more of a third-tier character, whereas Sweetie and Skuutz are second-tier).

Actually pretty much all of the g3.5 ponies were carried over from G3. I think Starsong was the only one who was exclusive to 3.5 aside from the "meet the ponies" shorts. I kind of lump those in with 3.5 though considering the voice and personality changes.
