Many suspected that sooner or later, one way or another, the 2017 version of Ducktales would reference Gargoyles. After all, with all the references & cameos by other Disney Afternoon (and Disney in general), they were almost honor bound to. Heck, it would've been downright insulting or wrong NOT to after referencing stuff like The Gummi Bears, Bonkers, the Wuzzles, and even a blink and you'll miss it reference to the Fluppy Dogs only about a dozen people would get.

And in the series finale, we got it from the most unlikely source with supporting character Manny turning out to be a gargoyle-like demon with a transformation scene taken from the show, along with its theme song. Made all the more wonderful by hearing Keith David's gorgeous voice!
