Description
'The young reporter strikes again!', I can read on the newspaper. I smile, used to this kind of cover. What a day! We had found the key to Red Rackham's treasure and that just the beginning. 'In 3 days,
meet me at the port, lad' said the Captain. Boy, was I tired! I'm always in the middle of action...to the exclusion of naptimes....*yawns*
-----------------------------
Finally home! About time, I look at my watch: 9h30. I hang my coat and walk across my small appartement, but my head reminds me that I can't find my bed as I hang it in my haad, so I sit on the couch. The cushions are nicely placed. I can't resist, I lay down, putting my left leg on the couch's left arm. No pillow for my head, thank you.
Aaaw, how good it feels to just relax. Snowy come close to me and jump on my chest making himself a bed. It certainly feels warm for both of us. My left hand move slowly to his back and starts to gently pet him. I hold him with my other right hand and say 'Goodnight my dear Snowy.' Then, my right hand slowly slide down to lighty touch the floor, as my head slightly turns as I closed my eyes. I breath slowly..I'm nice and cozy in my appartment, I'm not running anywhere...as I let a poem dance in my head...
Busy, busy brain
is now longing for the soft pillow,
when there's no time for thinking,
Only time to sink below.
Slow and heavy body,
had been waiting this moment,
When the beloved nest,
could be his for 10 hours long.
Mixed and blurred emotions,
A really big chaos,
Just one sacred place,
When they can just let go.
Soft and warm blanket
is opening its arms,
And is sayimg sofly:
'Wrapp me all around..'
Burried under a thousand sheets,
From your neck to your feets,
the every-day war is at break,
nothing to defeat,
As your eyes finally close,
And your body is not moving,
A soft song is chanting,
softly whispering:
Sleep, yes, sleep,
Be at peace,
Only sweets dreams,
instead of worries
Sleep, yes, sleep,
Because tomorrow,
the war continues,
Full of joys, sorrows,
But it's only tomorrow,
Only tomorrow....
