Well, no wonder! If she's omnipotent, that would just create too many plot holes for why she just doesn't fix the entire world.

And also because at those levels of power, she pretty much goes insane and nearly tears apart the Marvel Universe. It's a necessary dramatic impediment, alas, but I like the idea here of Wanda messing with her fellow Avengers for shits and giggles with a more controlled/limited version of that power. It adds a bit of humor that the MU comics could sorely use with her character after the wringer she's been put through.
