Is it wrong of me to feel bitter
when I think of the fact you never
once protected me from hurt or suffering?

I have never really came first have I?
Maybe when I was a baby,but then if
I haven't come first I would've died.
I guess I owe you a big thank you
for preserving my life.

But I got older,I got older faster
than the little kids I played with.
I lost my status to you,drugs came first,
a molester of a brother or a sick grandpa.
God I'm glad that's all over with.
Now your church comes before me,
Your holly savior comes before the child
who set you up to meet him...
(again I say fuck you both)

So don't tell me it's wrong to feel hateful,
don't you dare tell me I shouldn't be bitter.
I have every right to want to come first sometimes.
