Technical continuation from there race adventures and there return home------------------------------------------------------------
The flight felt like it was longer then it should have been to Vicen. Not to mention there was still the drive home with the horses. It wasn't that far but Vicen was sure if she hasn't already Yama was sure to deliver her foal soon.
They landed and loaded the horses quickly Only a small hold up with Flick as he obviously looked around for his crush Catwalk. The drive wasn't bad and they made hit home in good time.
"Unload the horses and get them settled." Vicen said to everyone as he got out of the truck. It was obvious they would even with out his order.
Kim walked out to the truck as Kalila and Radar bolted past her to get to Vicen first. "Welcome home hun." Kim said smiling as she walked up to him. Vicen pet the two rowdy dogs as he looked to her. " Hey Kim.. Sorry i really have to check on Yama." He said not wanting to be rude to her. "Oh well here please take this i'm sure shes cold shes been watching over Yama almost constantly." Kim said softly as she held out some blankets to him. Vicen halted and looked back. "what? who has?" He asked confused as he took the blankets. "Amanda of course. She knew you would be worried so spent pretty much every night with her. " Kim smiled as she walked back to the house. Vicen stood there for a moment before smiling softly.
He headed to the barn his earlier anxiousness subsided. He walked into Yama's foaling stall as she nickered softly at him, happy to see him again. "Hey girl.. how are you." He whispered as he looked to Amanda who was passed out in at the edge of the stall. " So much for keeping an eye on you huh..but.. sometimes i really have to thank her. " Vicen whispered as he went over and covered Amanda with the blanket. Amanda making strange noises and she snuggled into them. Vicen couldn't help but laugh a little and shake his head.
Just as he stood up and looked back at Yama she started to grumble and lay down. She was already well into the second half of labor. "Amanda wake up! call Liz Yama is giving birth." He yelled her as he went to Yama.
"IM UP AND READY FOR SCHOOL MOM!" Amanda yelled as she sat up. "Shh idiot call Liz." Vicen complained. "Oh.. OH right!" Amanda didn't hesitate to call grinning a little as she remembered something that he didn't.
There was some other surprise in store for Vicen this evening?
