Strengthened by experimental nanotechnology, Roxy uses her size and fighting skills to her advantage while defending mankind from oncoming threats.
Roxy's interest in robotic engineering started when she was young, dismantling and reassembling her parent's appliances for fun. She also took a special interest in Dr. Angela Ziegler and her work in nanobiology. Always tinkering and studying, she graduated top of her class at the University of Edinburgh.
However, a rare medical condition coupled with bad eating habits caused Roxy to balloon in size, leaving her nearly bedridden from her immense weight. Ever the optimist, she decided to use her robotics skills to slim her down. forging a legion of prototype nanobots based on Dr. Ziegler's research. Unfortunately, due to a miscalculation, the nanobots fused with her body on a near molecular level. While they did not help her lose weight, they enhanced her fat, muscles and skeleton, making her stronger and endurable to near superhuman levels. Although, Roxy was pleased by her restored mobility, she was distraught that she was still stuck in a massively overweight body. Angry that her plan backfired, she took up boxing as a way to vent her frustrations.
It was a almost a half year later when a splinter group of extremist Talon members, struck Edinburgh, conducting a violent and bloody siege. Seeing her city in danger, especially since most of her family lived there, Roxy jumped into the fray, fighting back using a pair of homemade mechanical gauntlets that both housed her nanobots and showed off her honed boxing skills. She fought alongside the Wyvern Defense Force, a Scottish private military company formed during the Omnic Crisis.
Seeing how both her scientific and fighting skills helped them drive out the terrorists, Wyvern asked her to join their ranks. Realizing that her current size wasn't the hindrance she thought, she eagerly said yes. Now, Roxy is touted as a regional hero and celebrity, promoting body positivity and maintaining a close vigil against any potential threat.
