Description
Here is a shadow and in it I kneelAs I pray to a God whom I know is not real,
To rescue my loved ones and to set them free.
Wrap his arms around them and save them from me.
Though my heart is breaking my resolve is stone
For the path that I chose I must walk alone.
I see the chasm looming and prepare for the fall.
I will be what I am or be nothing at all.
