Description
Going to the bottom of the ocean to see the unknown isn't as scary as the recklessness of human kind.(Ghost nets are fishing nets that have been left or lost in the ocean by fishermen. These nets, often nearly invisible in the dim light, can be left tangled on a rocky reef or drifting in the open sea)
The idea wasn't in mind when I started working on it but as I struggled through it the image became clear.
18x24" / 46x61 cm on stretched canvas.

I can really see what you were going for from the description. Especially in the lower right it looks like looking up from deep water.

Well then you can help me out! for the texture on your paintings is it just made out of random scraps you find lying around?

I collect a lot of things to have a stock of materials to use when I need them. Many of the objects I make by myself. It's quite obvious that I love the circular - round shapes, you'll have to find something that is somewhat feels more natural to you.
After a subconscious selection I start to create some sort of an image, in a way every placement of the object makes a lot of sense to me, it tells some kind of a story but I can't really explain it.
Most of the work is automatism, just do what feels right, don't overthink it =]

Yes, I like the stretched canvases more, just need to make sure that the objects aren't too heavy and well attached..
