I'm disappointed we didn't see other ships of the fleet. Especially the Dreadnoughts.

To be fair though, I blame Star Trek Into Darkness on the writers. Star Trek Beyond has better creative people working on it.

It's basically the anniversary film. It has the same cast as the previous two but the other writers left and instead Simon Pegg is among the new writers and Justin Lin is directing and I'm excited since Lin is known for having a knack for directing films with an ensemble cast.
