Something about being in the water invigorates Misty - she's as comfortable there as she ever has been on land. Her swimming technique is expert, her lithe body cutting through the water almost effortlessly. It's something she loves to do for hours on end, pumping her body through repeated lengths until her limbs are on fire, cooled only by the refreshing water and on until they're almost numb. All the while she must carefully control her breath, any misstep a disaster in the multiple attempts she makes to break her previous endurance records. Constantly vying to improve her achievements and best her former self, she sees rapid changes in her body as it adapts to the brutal, repeated tests of endurance.
