First entirely digital piece of art I've done in ages. My hand hurts, dunno how digital artists can stand it. Cookies to whomever guesses which painting I blatantly ripped off for this. (PS - not even sure if this is done yet)

I was watching Dogma, one of my favorite movies, and made up my own version of Lucifer for that universe (prolly way different than Kevin Smith would have inteded given my taste for more tragic, less 'pure evil' villains). I loved the genderless freak's design so much I wanted to do something big with my Morning Star, and decided to go with one of the Bible stories that I skewed in my head to work with the fandom (and my interpretations of the characters as suited to the 'verse) - the Temptation of Christ, wherein my interpretation of Lucifer is less skeezy salesperson, and more desperate, with Christ being wary and kind of weirded out. Trying to figure out how to talk about a character without using gender pronouns is messing with my head, but really I tried making Lucifer androgenous, and kind of racially-neutral, though the blonde hair and pointy avian features makes them look kind of white. Damn.
