I wanted to do more of these, so here you go! I think he and Rainbow Dash would get on quite well, given their gregarious personalities, daring, light-hearted joking, and pranks. Plus, I think Duo would get such a kick out of racing RD.Related content

On a different note, I was looking at Duo's design and thought for a moment, "Wait... black with red outline? How the heck does that work?"
The result that came to my mind was an image of black fur and feathers which have this crimson glint in them when the light hits them just right... I decided I liked the look.

Holy crud, I had literally started to compare the two of them when a mutual friend linked this. They really would be good friends, I think... Duo seems a lot like a less rude, less arrogant version of RD, but still just as fun.

I think that's a good summation of their relationship ^__^ Duo has had more in his life to force him to grow up, and he's got a much darker side to him than RD.

Oh yeah, forgot about Duo's darker side, he does have that whole "god of death" thing going. And he seemed rather too chipper when making sure that no one saw the Deathscythe and lived...

Duo's chipper attitude is a mask, of course. It's a survival mechanism. But yeah, he's pretty dark, and you don't have to scratch the surface much.

Fitting for Duo - I don't know if anybody commented on this, but I remember according to the DVDs and MAHQ website, the Deathscythe (and Hell, not sure with Wing Zero's stats) were the fastest out of the five Gundams depending of performance ability levels (compared to a Leo) [link] and [link] . So that's probably another reason why Duo would want to race Rainbow Dash, right?
Nevertheless, I'll be interested to see how he'd go against the three jock Sports Pegasi in the Best Young Flyer Competition - he wouldn't take crap from them either! I wonder what Hilde would look like as a pony?

That is true! I'd forgotten, but it made sense to me that he'd be a bit of a speed demon. Ridiculous speed can be another facet of stealth, provided you can mask the sonic boom XD And I'm sure Duo would take great delight in beating them into the dust XD

oh yes I imagine Duo would be like the 'deadly' night fury ledgends would tell of him swooping out of the black to drop water baloons on the unsuspecting then zipping away again without a trace. sometimes he'd put glitter on the baloons too so there would be evidence that isn't so easy to remove come daylight. You know, I didn't think bat wings would be part of the visual lexicon for this show, since even Nightmare Moon had feathered wings. Therefore, I designed him with feathered wings. Then I saw "Luna Eclipsed", and the bat-winged ponies, and realized they would have worked on Duo! *sighs* Oh well. He is what he is XD

That skit is clean, as far as I know. Sometimes Robot Chicken gets a bit raunchy, but that one "apocalypse pony" skit doesn't have anything bad in it, as far as I remember. You can probably look it up on You Tube.
