That's the "undo" button. Meaning that it's near impossible to not mess up while doing a mane/tail. So keep your hand on the "ctrl+z" buttons

This is seriously amazing.. Your manes and tails look so realistic!!
However, I do wish this tutorial was a bit more detailed with each step, it has helped me but I need some more help

Whole manipulations can take hours on end, sometimes even days. Painting hair usually takes about an hour or more, depends on the artist and the manipulation.
