As with my other Mighty Morphin Monster Hunters drawings, the moment I finished my version of the White Ranger I started thinking about doing the photoshop poster/profile. They were always fun in the past, and I was looking forward to completing the set.

So what to say about this one? It was nice to practise my photoshop skills again, I was beginning to forget some of the stuff. And it also through up a new challenge. Basically, in the lore of this idea, the colours of the Rangers are not connected to the colour of the monster that becomes their zord. So for example, you could have a Black Rathalos Ranger or Yellow Legina Ranger. The idea was this would really open up potential for creating interesting combinations. However, when creating the profile picture, it meant having to create a new colour variant of Tigrex. This leads to a few hours of messing around with the saturation and contrast settings, trying various things to try and get a cool look that fit what I trying to achieve. I'm pretty happy with the result; it was better than my first instinct which was just to desaturate the image and say case closed.

Speaking of contrast and saturation, I also messed with the levels of the Ranger just a little bit, just to give it a more vivid appearance.

Lastly, it was a bit of a challenge getting the colour of the background right. I actually made an entirely different version of this where it emphasised the gold elements of the character, but in review I decided it pushed the wrong colour too much, so I changed it to the current version that better highlights the white colour.

Other than that, there's not much else to say. Like the Green Deviljho Ranger, I decided to keep the original White Ranger power coin icon. It works with Tigrex, and honestly, I just like the symbol too much to want to change it. Anyways, that's everything. I might post the alternative version of this too at some point, as well as maybe start working on drawing the actual zords. That could be fun. Stay tuned XD
