There are a lot of different types of cherry trees as it turns out. I don't know any of their names. Here's one that had white blossoms.I took this picture in the outer garden of the Imperial Palace in Kyoto.

Nice photo of the tree but I think the perspective isn't the best cause there are too much flowers to see and nothing of the sky!
But that's only my opinion!

I was focusing on the density of the flowers in this particular pic. I've got other pics of the trees that I haven't uploaded, but I haven't hit the knack of getting my camera to take a pic of the sky that doesn't end up washed out most of the time.
