I was out on Exmoor photographing and this was a classic example of turning around and realising your facing the wrong way!!! something landscape photographers will be aware of happening when your zoned out taking a shot....Very rarely do i see a storm cloud building with such symmetery and with such defintion.
So this is a handheld shot, i had to crop a fair bit off the bottom because of raking shadows (mine included) ....
Nothing like the examples of huge storm clouds we see from the states but i like to think this is the south wests more subtle smaller scale example....

For some reason the clump of cows at the bottom is the perfect finishing touch.

Great composition with the cloud coverage well framed in the shot. The light is gorgeous as well, and the addition of the cows in the bottom center works nicely.
