I'm not a big fan of the anime when it comes to Jack The Ripper i'm more of an Assassin's Creed Jack The Ripper fan. I still like the art though.

I'd always wanted to see butler!Grell drawn or painted in a realistic style like this! 
The only thing that throws me off is that shadow/coat collar in the background. Is that something that should be obvious to me, or is it something symbolic?

This is completely gorgeous. You captured Grell's features amazingly well, especially his appearance in butler form. It's like you took that image from the anime and just rounded it out to look like a real person and for that I applaud you. I love his expression too, half innocent but not for long. Like "Yes I'm so very guilty looking...but not in a second."

Oh my goodness... I am speechless.. This is so gorgeous. I just adore the way you draw him. I keep scrolling back up to just stare at your work. There is such a beautiful sadness to him in this picture, a calm, that is just a fraction away from his psychotic madness. This is stunning!
