"Kinx are a very unique creature, in that they feature various traits from many different animals. They are generally long furred, with a plush mane protecting their neck and chest. Their ears are large and thick, able to swivel in any direction, giving them an amazing sense of hearing. They have sharp canines set deep in their jaw, but no other teeth, as their saliva is high in acid which liquefies whatever they eat. Because of this, they have extremely long and muscular tongues that curl over in order to easily drench their food. A Kinx eyes vary from each individual, some having slit pupils and others with no pupil at all. The rarest and perhaps most striking is the eyeless trait, which is actually a small gill-like membrane in which they can sense movement from. This dosnt make their senses any worse off, as they naturally have poor eyesight. Large chests and high sitting hips give them a very flexible and muscular build, capable of top cardio condition. However their most defining feature is without a doubt their tails. The tails curl over their back and kink at the end due to a curled bone with a long spongy section of cartilage between, granting the species with the name 'Kinx'. Occasionally you will find a Kinx without this cartilage piece due to a mutation in their genes, in which case the tail will become paralyzed and will either curl around their back like a ribbon or be naturally docked."

General Rules

- You may own 5 first generation Kinx (normal adopts). - You may own an unlimited number of nursery Kinx. - You must wait 48 hours between each adoption. This starts as soon as you win one, not the time the artist created it. - Please be kind and relevant on all forums. - Do not use a Kinx you don't own without the owners permission.

Breeding Rules

- Eggs will hatch into an adolescent after 5 days. - Though the young look like full grown adults, they will be unable to breed until they are 21 days old. - You may breed your Kinx as many times as you wish. - A Kinx can breed once every 60 days. If twins, you must wait 65 days. - There is a 5% chance of twins and a 1% chance of triplets. - Pupils will always be 50/50% chance of each parent's pupils. Heterochromia in the eyes is also common. - Mutations and changed traits are up to the artist designing your kit. - Any gender pairing may breed. In all technicalities they don't have a biological sex, but are fully capable of expressing gender and sexuality if they wish.

Habitat
- Prefers cool climates - Cant stand humidity, detrimental to their health - Enjoys being in social groups - Family members usually stay together all their lives - Wooded forests and mountain type areas are best - Loves being around people and children - Is somewhat pleasant around other domestic animals - Always diurnal (opposite of nocturnal), dislikes being out at night - Likes to burrow or hide in cave-like structures - Needs very large amounts of fresh water for bathing and drinking
