Not only does this painting have movement and suspense, but it is a great example of bright colors, light direction, and shadow.

You really have a knack in making watercolor and gouche look like oil or acrylic! I would have to wholly agree with sjaelv on the use of color! Also the texture and detail gives that sense of drama and movement that trully makes the piece really awsome! I like his shiny, gold garments!
