Arybelle is a kind a fun-loving mare who's very gentle, despite the fact that some ponies call her a giant (She's considerably tall and a little bulky compared to other ponies- this is because her father was rather largely built himself, she inherits her size from him.). She seems rather daunting at first glance, like a mountain that can't be moved- when in reality she's a sweetheart, and is quite the scaredy-cat too. It takes very little to give her a scare, and she's not fond of Nightmare Night because she finds it frightening- even if it is all meant in good fun.

She's very friendly to others, and gets along well with animals (specifically, cows). She's a huge softie, and isn't likely to pick a fight or even join in one, she's a dandelion despite her size. She's very good friends with many of the cows on Sweet Apple Acres, and even helps the Apple Family to take care of them. She's also a bit of a goof, sometimes when she thinks nopony is around she 'moos' just like the cows do, and haves conversations with them- sometimes very long, drawn out conversations.

She's not a fantastic flier, and prefers to walk around instead of flying- she's also very fond of the evenings, and isn't much of a morning person either, though she will wake up in the early mornings if she needs to- especially if she needs to wake up in order to help out with the cows.

Her favorite things to do include moving about the pastures with the Apple Family cow herd, and dozing under trees in the middle of the day. She loves fruit, and she also loves sharing it with the herd too.

Her father was a Bat Pony by the name of Nyxis- who lives in the Batpony Colony within the mountain SchattenBlitz. Her mother was a soft-spoken earth pony from Appleloosa, her name is Honeybloom. Honeybloom struck out on her own when she was a younger mare and traveled the wilderness of Equestria, a botanist by trade- she documented and recorded all the different types of plants she could find, before eventually stumbling upon a hidden passageway into the heart of SchattenBlitz, where she met and feel in love with a willy, big Batpony who knocked into her, thinking she was some sort of wild animal hoping to steal into the Colony when nopony was looking. Their relationship was rocky at the start, but soon enough Honeybloom's curiosity got the better of her, and she started learning all about the Batpony Colony, and especially the plants and flowers that bloom inside the caves of the mountain.

Arybelle spent a short time in the Batpony Colony within SchattenBlitz, before she and her parents moved away and struck up a home in HoneyBloom's hometown of Appleloosa. This is where Arybelle first found her love of cows, in the herds that called Appleloosa home- it is also where she first met the Apple Family. She lived there with her parents for several years before her mother Honeybloom grew sick and eventually passed away. Arybelle said goodbye to her father and followed the Apple Family to PonyVille, where she now lives in a small barn out in the middle of Sweet Apple Acres Pastures, helping look after the Apple Family's cows.

She still visits her father in Appleloosa as often as she can, Nyxis lives and works there still, he owns a saloon that stays open all night an into the late hours of the morning, before going to bed during the day. His tavern is very popular with the barnhands that stay up late at night at work, and is also a favorite spot for the buffalo who occasionally pass into town.
