Added 2/20/08A Boo. mentioned them on my Iggy pic, so I drew one. Not much you can do with these guys, but I like it, anyway.

That's just too damn diabolical. It's about time Mario forgot the damn fire-flowers & sledgehammers and bought himself an RPG. By which I mean 'rocket-propelled grenade,' not Final Fantasy IX.

Nice. Instantly recognizable to any casual Mario player, with just enough expressive detail to convey the EEEEE-vil. Good call with the sinister yellow eyes , incidentally. This Boo would look right at home in a Ghostbusters sequel (or the 'toon).
And ye gods...Chomps...gotta say, the worst ones, bar none, had to be those free-running MONSTERS from SMW 2. When they weren't leaping out of the background and gnashing up the friggin' landscape in front of you, they were running you down like a demented floating locomotive, DEVOURING almost every obstacle, driving you from platform to dropping platform in a breakneck race for the preservation of Yoshi's scaly butt. Seriously, if Mario-verse critters ever manifested in reality, those uber-Chomps would keep me up nights. With a chain gun.
Now that I think about it, SMW 2 was jam-packed with utterly steroidal foes. The Chomps, the giant blue goo-critters with fangs & big evil eyebrows (anyone know their name?), the ever-expanding Super-Boo boss, the gargantuan Piranha Plant boss...hell, EVERY boss, up to & including Bowser JR. One wonders why Bowser never whipped out that 'Kaiju-Size Me' spell when facin' off with Mario in subsequent games.

Chomps in SMW2 were pretty darn demented, eh? I just remembered that. They ate the stage chasing you, basicly.
I think there was some kind of mecha variety in Super Star Saga, though I haven't played it, only seen videos. Just what they needed-a body, and the ability to use a lazer.
The "Kaiju-size-me" spell would be neat to see again, though, given the way Bowsers size changes from game to game, one wonders if he may not be using some variety of the spell already.

Haha! Scariest boo I've seen. X3 I dunno, this one's really cool, but normal boos are cool as well. Why can't there be both! 8D I love using Boo in games... but this is definitely a more 'realistic' (or about as realistic as a ghost based off a video game can be) vision of him... I like it a lot! ^.=.^
