Amrit is your average highschool-age student, bright-eyed but secretly concerned about the trials ahead of him vis. jobs and girls. Born into an upper-class family as the eldest of two children, his parents hold top-tier positions at a local hospital, and sent him to the same prestigious school his father went to, hoping to engender a spark of medical interest in him, though this has so far been for naught.
Something of a worrywart, Amrit cares deeply about the sanctity of friendship, and sometimes disadvantages himself in the effort to please the people he cares about. He's also something of a neat-freak; he dislikes outdoors sports and excercises simply due to the fear of getting dirt under his fingernails, and abhors physical combat for similar reasons. He is much more comfortable at range, and while he may not be especially studious in his curricular work he is one of the school rifle club's top marksmen, and was in fact transported to the Digital World with a gun in hand, as he was setting up to clean it when the Event occurred. However, he didn't have any time to grab any bullets, so it's been functionally useless to him. He currently uses it as a club in his travels across the digi-globe, alternately worrying himself sick about his parents and younger brother Zarir, and believing that it's all a horrible dream.

Well, you know what they say about opposites attract... Jabmon is highly competitive and headstrong, raring to punch the daylights out of anything too powerful for him to have a hope of beating! Being chained to Amrit is his only moderating influence.

About
Born in the depths of digi-mexico's jungles, Jabmon had to run away from most things for a while, since his first two stages are hella weak. Upon achieving rookie-level, he wasted no time in knocking the sh*t out of his old adversaries, and subsequently sought to move on to tougher pastures. He's been slowly traveling north since, getting in trouble with the law all the way.
Both he and Amrit view their partnership with a degree of shock, since the former is insulted at the idea of having to travel with a milquetoast human-thing, and the latter is honestly frightened by this strange, hotblooded flipper-armed beast. I'm sure you can tell this is the start of a beautiful friendship!

Trivia:
Most digimon give themselves names to identify themselves from others of the same species. Since Jabmon's the only one of his kind he knows of, he doesn't bother.
The brass-plated chrome digizoid sections on his body allow for efficient conduction of electricity; the chest piece also serving to protect his digicore by conducting electricity away from it.
He doesn't have as big an appetite as other digimon, as he can derive phototelectric power from the sun through the dark markings on his body.
He's embarassed by the freckles bridging his nose, so don't point them out. He also resents situations requiring manual dexterity, for obvious reasons.
