"The current "war" is not fought against a recognized nation. It was started by us, to find a threat that did not exist, and it threw the region into bedlam. I believe this conflict should be ended quickly, and replaced with a well-defended government aid system. These people's culture, is different from ours: we have no right to change it. But we have a responsibility to ease the damage we inadvertently caused there."
There is also the remaining threat of generalized terrorism, which threat is very real. It is not quite as much an immediate threat to us as once believed, but it exists. Working with our allies, we intend to neutralize this threat as efficiently as possible.
