Description I hope this made you laugh a little.

I was going to spend time on this until it looked picture perfect... but I didn't. I'm ready to model something else instead of spending hours and hours trying to get the materials and render perfect. On to the next project!

I also thought of creating a pool area and putting a billiard table into the swimming pool area, and I had an idea of a guy pointing a gun at a pool and titling it "Shooting Pool".. but I probably will never do anything with those ideas.

The modeling and the idea are great. But I one thing to note is that the scene does not have a focal element. This makes me feel a bit lost in the image. And it's not really clear if you wanted this to look realistic or cartoony as the materials and colors are somewhat in between. These are just some of my ideas on how you could improve the picture. But you don't want to keep working on it, so oh well...xD. (I know that feeling. Modeling is just way more fun than actually rendering it) The water is rendered very well in my opinion, though.

Yeah this was just for a laugh because I had the idea in passing. I do really appreciate your detailed feedback. Your thoughtful insights help me a lot.

This is getting better. Also, water is the only thing that i don't know how to render ^^

Nice Idea. Be carefull with sharpen edges and illumination.

I'm not sure what you mean about 'sharpen edges and illumination'... ???

Try to smooth the areas that are not Sharp in real life, for example, the wood borders, just a bit of bisel and it will look nice.

And Illumination, well, i guess there is no need to explain. Make the light to iluminate well the areas or set the camera for a higher light sense. Be carefull with shadows where is supposed to be and where is not.
