It looks like you both had a nice time shooting these pictures. This location seems familiar. It's quite an unearthly looking place. I'll bet it's great during a full moon, although, if it's anything like similar places in my neck of the woods, it wouldn't be safe to go there at night.
I think your friend's winter outfit is cool.
