Thanks. Many hours! This was bristol vellum paper and I used charcoal just on the tiger. It really separates from the background because the background is just pencil.

Ths really is amazing. I draw a bit myself (i dont have a scanner so i can't post it on deviantart) and fur is my big weakness, so i was wondering if you would share your secret on how you did the light hairs, mostly the ones in the dark part of the chin. i've tried stuff like that but i just can't do it. i tried kneadable erasers (love those things, can't do without them) but i just can't get lines that thin by them, or trough that dark a coulour.
Anyway, amazing work!

it is just using the kneaded eraser and using a sharp pencil, using charcoal pencil for final layers. There is no secret I guarantee. Just plenty of hours. Just try to make up as much time for drawing as you can and I guarantee you will improve
