IN ORDER:
I - Morning Confrontation [single]
A young Sunfeather, Sunny at the time, ventures into the wild after he escapes from his twolegs' truck and finds himself with company. Turns out to be the young Riverstar, Riverpaw at that point and Redclaw, two Thunderclan warriors. After fending off an aggressive Falconpaw, Redclaw finds potential in him and Firestar recruits the young cat, believing that he is part of a prophecy that describes a 'shining clawed cat bringing an end to a Twoleg's creation's reign of terror' after seeing that Sunny, now Sunpaw, had 'shining claws', when in actual fact he has a metal, prosthetic left paw covered up by synthetic fur, as he was born with a deformed left paw.

II - Mercenaries [single]
Two mysterious cats, Night Walker, a cat with half a face, and Shadow, a cat with a powerful metal front leg, walk amongst the Twoleg factory. Having successfully escaped a peculiar Twoleg company called Cerberus, who presumably help cats who were seriously injured by giving them metal prosthetics, they look to the clans for refuge. After taking over Shadowclan, Shadow changes his name to Shadowstar, and the clans are almost torn, as there is a dispute over whether Shadowstar was the shining clawed cat Starclan had prophecised, or whether it was Sunfeather. Eitherway, Shadowstar truly has good intentions, and assists Sunfeather in discovering Falconwing's true nature as the murderer of the late Thunderclan leader Firestar, and also helps Sunfeather discover who he really is.

III - War Machines [single]
Near the end of Runaway, the true villain is revealed- Falconwing, a former Thunderclan warrior who goes by Falcon after he is exiled. He sought after Shadowstar and Night Walker after he was exiled, and tries to explain that he killed Firestar with his clan in mind, saying that a spirit named Quickstrike, one of Cerberus's first experimentations, had coaxed him into doing it. Shadowstar and Night Walker are not impressed, however, and tear him apart, leaving him barely breathing and decide to dump him near the Cerberus Laboratory. The scientists, shocked by his gorey state, take him in and decide that he is the cat they would turn into Falcon A-27, an extensively planned experiment that sought to turn an animal into a fully functioning weapon of war- complete with advanced intelligence that came with being able to understand human language and technology, such as guns or swords.

The experiment was a success, and the heavily cybernetically enchanced Falcon A-27 was sent out to the forest to collect more cats for further experimentation, as they wanted to see if they could turn a human into such a machine. With the assistance of Riptide, a completely robotic quadrupedal/bipedal A.I that resembles some sort of feline, he almost takes over the forest by having Riptide hijack the minds of the forest cats. However, Shadowstar convinces Riptide to turn against the war-hungry Falcon, as he reminds Riptide that his mission is to spread peace, not chaos. Riptide, with newfound freedom, confronts Falcon, who had killed Shadowstar prior in revenge for making his right hand man turn against him. Eventually, Falcon breaks every single on of Riptide's blades but a single, very powerful but I.D locked blade. It turns out that the sword had belonged to Sunfeather, who was supposed to be chosen as Falcon A-27, but was taken away by his twoleg owner before he could be turned into it. He hands the blade to Sunfeather in order for him to finish the job. He manages to slice through Falcon's exoskeleton and kills him once and for all.

After all is done, Riverstar, the new leader of Thunderclan after Falcon had killed Bramblestar, offers to let Riptide and Night Walker stay, but they refuse, saying that cyborgs like them have no place in the forest, and they would be leaving to find a company called Seraphim, Cerberus's peaceful counterpart. Sunfeather notes that he too, is a cyborg, but Riptide reminds him that he is more authentic than any cat he had ever met.

Not like a robot knows anything about authenticity.

IV - Grassland Ghosts [single]
A little nod to the fact that Runaway and Hidden River (by birdpunk ) are in the same universe!

A Dark Forest cat (Ratwhisker) stalks some Windclan cats (Deertuft and Foxclaw). What are his motives?
