wherever or whatever reality this world occupies it's clear that many of the indigenous lifeforms are quite large and hard to ignore...they stay afloat by generating insanely flammable hydrogen as a natural process of their digestion process...this makes them very dangerous as they are naturally attracted to heat sources in order to hunt and feed...campfires are only an invitation of bringing them near...not conducive to promoting a long and productive existence...well maybe an spectacularly abbreviated one and the transformation of a former campsite into a very deep and smoldering crater
