Description
Jason and the Gaodon circled each other threateningly, daring the other to make the move. Time slowed for the combatants, with seconds becoming hours to them. Suddenly though, the Gaodon roared and charged Jason. The boy managed to leap out of it's way, but was still caught by a flailing claw as it passed by, taking his leg out from under him. Stunned, he was charged again from behind, only barely managing to escape the creature's grip as it tried to mount and assault him. Jason managed to get some payback, slashing the eye of the Gaodon as it rolled him over attempting to bite. A kick to the face rocked the black-furred creature allowing Jason to get some distance. "OK...you've got some moves...but you're not the only one!" Taking the chance to follow up his attack, Jason leaped at his prey, only to be met with a strong strike from it's claw batting him against a wall, and cracking his helmet as a result.
The Gaodon roared and pounced on Jason, attempting to impale him on it's horn. The horn managed to puncture the armor, but thankfully the chainers' armor was able to stop the horn from piercing his flesh. Attempting to skewer the human, the aquatic creature lifted it's head, attempting to have gravity finish the job, but Jason had other plans.
In fact, this was within the realm of his own schemes. "Perfect!" Using his spear, the blond was able to sever the horn from it's base, with a powerful strike, causing the Gaodon to roar and real in pain. Spotting a perfect opening, Jason threw down his spear and used the creature's horn as a weapon, ramming it threw his chest, in a burst of adrenaline.
The Gaodon let out final roars of pain, and flailed around in a mixture of fury, pain, and panic, though Jason was easily able to evade these attacks as it finally succumbed to it's injuries. Jason, for his part, was exhausted, but satisfied with his work. Removing his helmet, he collapsed against a nearby wall. "That...could have gone better," he laughed. "Here's hoping you fetch a price worth all this." The hunter walked over to the fallen creature, pulling out a small knife. "Joking aside. You put up a good fight. Your loss won't be without payout."
