"Hey, Captain? Where are we going exactly," Drake shouted from the crows nest. Vance had been pretty secretive about their latest adventure--about a lot of things really. Ever since he'd completed his training, he was obviously a different person though his crew found it hard to put into words what made the change.

The pirate captain sat at the bow of his ship with a small smile on his face, and only replied with a gesture towards an odd, crescent-shaped island.

"I really don't think we should be wasting our time with this," Jiyu huffed, coming above deck, and standing next to her student-turned-captain. "Don't you think we should be focusing on stopping The League, instead of taking leisure cruises?"

Vance knew full-well why Jiyu was mad, but this was simply one instance where she'd have to bow to his whim as Captain (a rare instance, indeed.) "Possibly. All the same, this is an opportunity I won't pass up," the dark-haired pirate said. "Besides...I'm just going to see an old friend. There's nothing wrong with that."

Jiyu opened her mouth to say something, but relented without another word, knowing why exactly he was so adamant about coming here, though not entirely happy about it.

It didn't take long before The Moonlight was anchored, and Vance was gone before anyone knew what happened, with Molly only catching a flash of purple darting into the forest. "Vance! Oh Lady...where is he running off to so fast--what's going on here!?" Molly was arguably just as upset as Jiyu, but mostly for different reasons. "I hate it when I don't know why we're going somewhere," she shouted, about to race off after her captain along with Drake, (Jiyu opting to stay behind.)

Vance was happier than he'd been in a long time. It was rare enough to see an old friend as a pirate, but to see a friend who just happens to be a mermaid? Well, that was an opportunity he wasn't prepared to let slip through his gloved fingers.

"Oi! Vance! Over here!" A loud voice called, soon revealed to be that of a pink-haired, peach-skinned beauty, laying in a spring.

"Li-Li!" Vance raced over and hugged his friend, almost pulling her out of the water, though she seemed just as intent on pulling him in, as the two got reacquainted.
