"I'm beginning to think I may have made a horrible decision...," Prince Edward said, handing Natsumi her Royal Seal. "Anyway, that will allow you into all parts of the castle. Just wear or show that to anyone who stops you--albeit, I'll usually be around with you anyway so that shouldn't be much of a problem." He looked once more at the only applicant for his bodyguard position, and sighed inwardly. Knowing he would have just as hard a time stopping his urges with his bodyguard as he would with the very women she would be attempting to stop him from...ravaging, as it were.

"N'Got-cha, Mate! Ye'll have no problems dealing with them lades, while I'm 'round," Natsumi said, giving the ice prince a toothy grin. She was surprised she'd been picked, but chalked it up to being awesome. Her super-strength and nifty cowboy hat probably helped as well. The hat, most definitely. "So, was we doin today?"

"Well," Prince Edward began, rising from his chair. "Today, is actually a good day to test your abilities in a real-world setting." The Prince pulled a piece of paper from his pocket, and handed it to his new bodyguard. "We'll be attending a gathering of royalty to address matters of great importance throughout the land. On the way, your skills will be put to the test and you'll also have the chance to learn from those more experienced in the area of guardianship."

Of course, it didn't hurt that there would be several lovely ladies there that would no doubt be quite optimistic, given the opportunity to spend some private time with him...not that that was what he was going for. The Prince smiled proudly, affirming this false thought.

Natsumi tilted her head sideways as if expecting more, before finally replying. "Say wha?"

The Ice Prince slapped his palm to his head, a headache inevitable. "Nevermind. Just...let's get ready to leave."

Later~

The Prince stood outside sitting on the stairs, awaiting his bodyguard. "What is taking that girl so long," he mumbled, before he felt a pair of hands wrap around his chest, a weight come down on his back. His body immediately went stiff, (in more ways than one,) as he felt the soft, warm, familiar touch of Yuna.

"Hey there, Prince," she uttered in her usual, sultry voice. "What ya doin sittin around out here?"

"N-nothing," Edward said, grasping her hands. "I'm just getting ready to leave for the Royal Summit. Why are you here? Shouldn't you already be on your way there as well," he said, attempting to look the other way. "Well, i was in the area and so...thought we'd stop by and pay a little visit," she giggled at the last word, pulling him closer, loving the chilly sensation of his ice-cold skin against her heated flesh. "There's still awhile before the summit. What do you say we...hang, for a bit?"

"LUNA!"

A recognizable, angelic voice called out the two demons in their privacy, thankfully giving Edward a reprieve, lest his willpower fail him. Unfortunately, he turned his head and realized that the battle was only heating up, and not just because of Luna.

"What are you doing!?" Tomino rushed over, taking his vacant shoulder as a resting place for her head. "Has Luna hurt you, Prince?"

"Uh...uh..." Edward blushed as he answered the beautiful girl. "No...no, we were just...talking."

"Yeah, babe. We were just getting ready to go. Weren't we, Ed," Luna said, winking at Prince Edward, and grabbing his arm, and pulling him up.

"What!? I should say not! If anything, The Prince will want to spend time with moi," Tomino said, trying to pull Ed in her direction.

The two girls struggle, trying to pull The Ice Prince along with them, but before either girl can get him to come with them, the two have their heads slammed together, knocking both unconscious.

Edward turns to see Natsumi beaming down at him, with razor-sharp fangs. "Sorry. I was nappin. All ready to go, ey?"

Prince Edward's face turns red, and he turns away from Natsumi, silently berating himself for doubting the vampires abilities, only to turn and see her getting ready to bite the neck of one of the princesses, inching away with a nervous smile as The Princess slaps his palm into his forehead again.

"Shall we get going, Natsumi," he said, shaking his head with a smirk.
