Personality - fun-loving, dorky, kind, adventurous, protective, proactive, a little dumb (ie a goggle boy). Also a geeky nerd.
Background - When Nate was 11, he tripped while playing curb tightrope and fell into a portal to the Digital World. He came to in the middle of a battle to the death between a Garurumon and a Tyranomon. Just as the Tyranomon was about to land the killing blow on him and the Garurumon, a yellow blur darted out of the underbrush and rescued him.
For the next several years, Nate and his saviour - a naked Gabumon that the boy dubbed Bob - went on adventures together, secretly saving the world from dangerous Digimon. Or so they claim anyway, they were children. It could have been make believe! Eventually the pair drifted apart as Nate grew up, and contact was fully cut when the link between worlds was severed. Nate never lost the sense of wonder those experiences gave him, though.
Now a pilot, Nate splits his time between flying people around the world and spending time with his wife and young kids. That’s right, the nerd actually grew up and settled down. …Or, at least, he did until the Guilmon invasion… Bob followed a group of the Digimon through a portal and tracked Nate down. The ensuing nostalgia wave proved too much for the man, and he dropped his adult facade. Now he travels the world assisting digidestined.com and the DMCU under the guise of working… he’s afraid to tell his wife he’s risking his life like an 11-year-old again.

Personality - Unlike a typical peltless Gabumon, Bob is fairly abrasive and aggressive. Since he gets along with everybody that he deems no threat, and is somewhat shy, he’s probably just overcompensating for his nakedness.
Attacks -
   Blue Blaster: spits blue flames at its enemies
   Horn Attack: stabs with its horn
   Rapid Punch: a flurry of punches

Story - Bob was about to get his Garurumon pelt when he ran into Nate and saved him instead. He acts like he's put out by this happening, but his Tamer is a way better prize than some fur ever would be.
