This isn't EXACTLY a portrait of me in a favorite fantasy situation, but it's not too far off.(Some details both of the self-portrait and of the fantasy would differ from what is shown here, but this is what (a) happened to work out as I drew the picture, and (b) was tame enough to show on dA.)

I meant to comment before, but stuff came up. I have a really strong attachment to this picture. I've been heavy all my life, and I happened across it on one of my down days, when I really needed a boost. My fiancee has the luxury of blaming his weight on muscle,and if I getreally down, this reminds me of him and a number of other things I tend to neglect.
Anyway, I couldn't see this piece working in any style other than how you've presented it. A beautiful job well done.
