Description
paint nails the black of a chalkboard,then add glitter.
uncap Teacherβs red pen
and scrawl corrections on skin
then sweat out the fever, sweat and watch
ink run from hands.
these waves are smaller
than silent tears wiped away at midnight
but the tide is rising and we donβt mind
stirring up sand along the way.

I always preferred Maybelline pearlescent white. Though I only painted my nails for a few months. Way too much trouble to maintain when you work with your hands, and constantly put them in gloves which are removed again in a minute.
