Description i opened the window
and in rushed a swarm of white noise
made quickly obsolete by the aroma
of coming rain.     meanwhile
the carpet’s gray
drained away
and a blanket of dust
leapt from the mantelpiece
and flew dancingly up
to rejoin the sky.
