Jinx rolled her eyes at her companion. "C'mon, how bad could it be?"

Her spandex-clad date gave her the crazy stare. "Jinx, I heard that this movie was so bad, that RAVEN had to leave the theater!"

Jinx pouted. "You said you'd take me out on a date! We agreed that if I chose the movie, you could choose the restaurant. You took us to Biscuit Barrel, ate them out of house and home, and got us kicked out! I think I DESERVE to choose the movie."

"In my defense, I had no idea that Control Freak was there! I was acting for the greater good!"

Jinx raised an eyebrow.

Kid Flash sighed, defeated. "Fine, we'll go see Wicked Scary 2."

He took her hand and gazed lovingly into her eyes, and whispered: "Besides, how bad could it be? I've got you to protect me."

Jinx leaned forward, and Kid Flash puckered up eagerly waiting for their lips to collide. Instead, she completely missed his mouth and whispered into his ear, "You're buying the popcorn!"

Then she walked into the theater, leaving the speedster alone on the patio. He looked dumbfounded at first, and then a dreamy smile spread over his face. "I love that girl."
