i used to do that kind of child praying, where you don't really understand who you're praying to or why you're doing it, but it's what people do in films so it's what you do to.
since i learnt more about it, i haven't, not properly. i'm not sure i could, knowing/believing i'm just shouting into the ether.

i believe in a higher power, but not a god. not someone who cares, who loves us, or anything like that. not someone deserving of worship. i'm far to pessimistic to be sold on the 'benevolent' thing.

but that wasn't really the point of this. it wasn't really meant to be a religious statement. like, i don't associate prayer with just talking to god. it's not strictly a religious thing, for me, more of a... worship thing. a sign of faith. doesn't have to be in god, if that makes sense.
