and you, caught in the doorway, staring at his back
and you can almost see through it
you swear you can almost see through him
imagine you blink, and he flickers
flickers, flickers, and he's gone, and you blink
shake your head, you really need more sleep
in this room, there is dust and decay
and a dead man, hunched in the corner
scribbling frantically and muttering to himself
and this house is empty and you are lost
and the man is flickering
and you are too tired for this
you are not drunk enough for this
you need a drink, you really need a drink
the man disappears and christ, you need a drink
there is a man in a room, flickering
and you are not sure why, in this room,
in this doorway, you are trapped, you need to get out
you are lost and you need to get out
and there is a man you can see straight through

ah, I like this a lot. really brought me into the scene. though I'm not a huge fan of second person used in this way it worked well for me here.
