another update. more drawings from SLNL's sketchbook!

this one is from another series i draw. but at this point its merely in a planning stage. its a horror and and a shonen series. and im not touching it until i feel like i've gotten the style right and have learned how to draw battle scenes.

this one is called Pupil. i never knew why i called it that. i assumed its because the early sketches of the characters had them with no pupils. now they sort of do. but ive made it blank, clear and faint for a reason.
ive made the whole thing fairly dark i don't know im never any good with dark things.

the whole thing is about a boy nicknamed "nob" he is blind and he gets cold easily. his parents have abandoned him long ago and he learned to stand on his own feet ever since he was a baby. the only thing he ever possessed was an old sweater. it kept him warm.
one night he goes in to the library and finds a strange-looking book as if fate wanted him to touch it. the opens it using the key that was hanging from it, and releases chaos-bringing spirits into the world. now he has to perform a difficult task given to him by the king of the gate. (controller of the world inside the book) in order to bring balance back.

i haven't really given the characters names because im not sure what to name them but i can tell you what they're supposed to be though:
left to right: i think he's supposed to be a dragon of some sort, the king of the gate, Nob, a man made out of liquefied metal, the green ribbon lady(remember her?)[link] , the witch of the east, the food monster.
