And yet another in my series of fantasy characters -- "Kasai" is done in a lineless "Samurai Jack"-like style. (More viewable in my gallery.)For those who came in late: Rionn are a fantasy race of river-named spirits. Not quite niads, not quite mermaids, they are waterway guardians during the memory of the future known as the "Reawakening", a age where fantasy weaves into the fabric of reality in an attempt to heal and balance the harshness of the world.

You know, I've been trying really, really hard to think up a critique for this and I can't. I mean, I wonder why you bothered with the undies, but that's just a personal question. You did a great job on this all around.

Actually, I do know why....I originally did this because I hadn't been terrifically clear, anatomically, as to how the tail worked on the Rionn..and rather than do a more explicit nude, I suggested how the clothes might work around the tail, as well...at least, in one instance....

It's not so bad, her tail covers a lot of it, and it's not like her buns were the main focus. Your eyes are really drawn to her face most of all.

I find the intensity of the coloured background takes away from the overall shape of the figure.
*I* would like to see the same image on a muted colour field.

Aww, I liked the swirly smoke/mist, but the blue-black works, too! Turned out wonderfully; you fit the more-voluptuous Rionn body type perfectly into the straight-edge "retro" style.

Couldn't get the swirly mist to look right, so opted to hold off until I've perfected. Might show up in my next work, though....
