Description
Just a couple months short of officially having been deviant for two years (next February) I almost fittingly hit two hundred deviantions, which, considering I joined dA on a whim two years ago and almost didn't go through with it, thinking it'd never work out, that's a bit of an accomplishment for me.

This time, instead of popping open a Can o' Confetti I got everyone, both my characters and characters I've done fan art for at least once in the past, together for a group shot. It was a bit of challenge fitting everyone together, especially since there were so many different art styles involved, but at the same time it was great fun, and I'm overall pleased with the final pic save a minor detail or two.

Here's a breakdown of who's who:

-Skip (the foremost character) is my anthro alias of sorts on dA, and/or test subject when experimenting with new art-related things. In this instance, however, he's filling in for yours truly, the joke being that I actually can't stand it when I have people hovering over my shoulder, watching as I work on something. Even if they are a number of favorite characters from video games/webcomics/TV shows.

-Pinkie Pie (first row, right) is probably one of the more...shall we say...memorable characters from the TV show "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic" (so I'm a brony, sue me). She's also the one character from the whole bunch that I honestly can't figure out HOW I should react if I were to ever find her hovering over my shoulder like this in real-life. This is also the first time I've shaded any pony differently from the way it's done in the show, which, despite that, turned out okay.

-Sonic The Hedgehog (first row, left) is the titular character of the video gaming franchise of the same name by Sega. Been a Sonic fan myself for a long time, but honestly don't draw him, or any of the other characters for that matter, often enough.

-Millie (second row, left) is a character from the webcomic "Ozy and Millie" by D.C. Simpson, and has long been a favorite of mine, despite the strip having more or less ended. One could argue that I should have fit Ozy in there too, since Millie, as great a character she is, is only half the comic, but whoever says that obviously hasn't looked at the pic closely enough. He's there, he's just...a little hidden. And missing his trademark top hat (for practicality reasons).

-Rocky Rickaby (second row, middle) is another favorite webcomic character, this time from the webcomic "Lackadaisy" by the extremely talented . If you like cats, Prohibition Era-rumrunners, and zany, off-the-wall, (and occasionally morbid) humor, this comic's for you too.

-Matt and NANCI (second row, right) are two characters from a (much less notable) in-progress comic of my own called "Infinity" . I update it fairly sporadically, and it isn't that great in comparison to others, but you're more than welcome to look at it.

-GLaDOS (third row, left) is the villainous AI from the Valve game series, "Portal" and probably one of the best villains ever IMO. She's actually acting surprisingly calm in this pic, having not unleashed any turrets or flooded the pic with neurotoxin, nor is she making any comments about the matter (that you can see), but hey. Of all the characters I drew for this, GLaDOS here was the most complicated and difficult.

-Super Pup (above GLaDOS) is the titular character from a WIP comic of sorts I have been busy planning out behind the scenes, so to speak. Unlike "Infinity," which is more story-oriented and detailed, Super Pup would be more simplistic and daily-gag oriented like a newspaper comic strip. Those who follow me here on dA have only seen bits and pieces of what I have planned, but, time permitting, I hope to be showing off a lot more of Super Pup here in the near future.

-Darkwing Duck (third row, middle) is the titular character from an old Saturday morning cartoon show Disney aired back when I was younger, and in recent years have been missing greatly, due to the utter lack of interest I have in pretty much all of the Saturday cartoons of today. Recently, he's made a bit of a comeback in comic form drawn by BOOM! Studios, but since Disney recently bought out Marvel and apparently saw no point in outsourcing the rights for these comics to other companies, they've pulled the plug on the comic, despite it still being relatively new and a near runaway hit. The fact that DW looks like he's about to kick Rocky in the back of the head in this pic is purely coincidental, and I'm sure Rocky's head is thick enough that it won't bug him in the slightest.

-The Pyro-GX (third row, right) is from a old favorite computer game called "Descent" (details in link above), which, in the smallest of nutshells, was the ship you, as the player, controlled in playing the game. I have always loved this ship's futuristic, yet robust, feel, in addition to what awesome things you can do with it in-game. Sadly, this is NOT my best drawing of it ever, as I had trouble getting the perspective right. I fixed some of it in Photoshop when coloring it, but even then, there are a lot of flaws in it that really SHOULDN'T be there. Furthermore, it's wingspan threw off the nice and oddly centered effect I had going with the pic up until that point (now it's all slightly off-center), and the only way I could fix it was to cut off the wing, and make it go off the edge of the page. And since it would be the ONLY thing that does that (save GLaDOS's wiring) I felt it would've looked out of place. So...so much for the centering. XP

Other characters that were considered for inclusion in this pic: Miles "Tails" Prower , Chell and Wheatley , and Spike .

EDIT 4/1/2012: I realized not long after I posted this that I had neglected to put whiskers on those that needed them, and have been meaning to fix that ever since. Well now, months later, I finally did it. Go me.

Also, I added some glow effects and a glint to Skip's glasses.
