Finally finished this. Feels so good. Ugghh yeah. This is a personal victory for me. I started this project in '05. Got my life a little bit more organized. I just got my sweet MAC a month ago and decided to finish this project up. I know this has been done before, but I wanted to have a go at it. I really wanted to get this vector looking as real as possible to an actual picture. I don't know how many hours I've put into this, I can honestly say a freaking lot. I included some details and the actual picture I used in my scraps.Just want to point out that I did not use Live Trace, I started this project on Illustrator when that wasn't even an option yet. haha
Tuneage: So many different tracks I don't even remember. Try this one if your in a good mood. Pnau - Embrace (Miami Horror & Fred Falke Remix) Also diggin the Kanye West - Love Lockdown.
String Theory is interesting, hahaha. I'm glad really smart people are working on that for us.

As far as an automotive presentation, it doesn't really need anything else... The focus is the car and it's not uncommonfor showroom presentations to be very simple.

The only oddball, out-of-place thing I see in this image is the light on the left side of the car, and the right side of the hood, yet no light source is indicated coming from the right side of the hood, whereas you know by looking at the image that there is a light source on the left side of the car.
Other than that, this is pretty fricken amazing guy!
One of my old buddies from Florida, Will built a 99% accurate render of a BMW in Lightwave years ago, and that was the most amazing rendition I'd seen until this.

I call it like I see it man. It's good to know that some people still want critique, without the sugary glaze.
Light source is important in 3D renders. I know what you were thinking: "I want to make sure everyone can see the entire car". That's fine, but as photorealistic as this is, you can enhance that 10 fold by using 1 light source to showcase the model. That makes it realistically photorealistic!
