Her markings represent three symbols, Dots, Tear Drops and Diamonds, all of which symbolize water and beauty. Her chest/shoulder marking resembles battle armor to symbolize strength.
Bluegrass would do well in Dressage and Show Jumping events due to her precision, speed and strength although not Cross Country as she does not have high endurance levels.

Yay, I will do I've been needing motivation and inspiration to draw for a while. Water is my favourite element (I'm pieces so I guess that fits !) plus horses are my favourite animals to draw!

Yes it's perfect for her. I don't think you should change it. If you do you might end up with a color-saturated, rainbow creature. She is beautiful the way she is.
